when did harley start using electric starters?

im looking to buy a harley for around 3200 dollars but i really want a kick start can i convert an electric start to a kick start?

What year and model bike? 4 or 5 spd?
Big Twin or Sportster?

Like Sly said, the first electric start was the 65 ELECTRA glide, hence the name.
